Course IntroductionMedical Microbiology - Fall 2016
Students in Medical Microbiology explore the microbial world, studying topics such as pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganisms, laboratory procedures, identifying microorganisms, drug resistant organisms, and emerging diseases. Pathophysiology - Spring 2017 In Pathophysiology, students conduct laboratory and field investigations, use scientific methods during investigations, and make informed decisions using critical thinking and scientific problem solving. Students in Pathophysiology study disease processes and how humans are affected. Emphasis is placed on prevention and treatment of disease. QUIA.COM - All Assessments and some projects & homework are done on this website. Please memorize your Username & Password when issued by Mrs. White at the beginning of the course. Biology Dept. Tutorial Times (biology teachers are here to help every day of the week) Mrs. White's 2015-16 Tutorial's are every Tuesday Morning 8:20-8:55 am and Thursday Afternoon 4:15-4:55 pm or by appointment only. Missed Labs: should be made up within 1 week. In extreme cases, an alternative assignment will be given to make up the lab. Course Supply ListBelow you will find a list of supplies needed to be successful in the course. Items with a "star" (*) should be left safely at home unless otherwise instructed by Mrs. White. Please purchase these supplies as soon as possible and contact Mrs. White if you encounter issues acquiring any items listed.
